i’m really enjoying the grid you used in number 3 :: the 2×3 3x3squares :: which we could divide into 4×6 1.5×1.5 :: i think this could be a very fun grid to implement.
the grid is also a great structure for people to be able to apply different designs yet still have a consistent feel for the piece regardless of the number of people working on the file/project.
check out laura’s thumbs and think about how this booklet design could be applied to future projects. the grid is a great start.
think about the cover design and how you could create a style/formula to be used again. think of it like a series of books :: what parts need to stay consistent so that the reader goes :: oh yeah this must be the newest issue of the529. (magazine masthead could be another way to think about it. )
